This event is the Magnolia State Barbeque Championship (by proclamation from Gov. Haley Barbour) and Food Fair. The event is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. It is held each year the second weekend in April. There will be over sixty teams competing for the "Grand Champion" of Barbeque. Proceeds go to charity.
