This event will feature a carnival with 16 rides, petting zoo and live bands on Friday and Saturday night. A J Bar B Rodeo will be held at 7pm each night. There will be lots of entertainment throughout the day on Saturday. Thursday night is family night; buy a wristband for $15 for unlimited carnival rides.

A quiet, unassuming and essentially shy man, Horton is remembered as one of the most influential harmonica players in the history of blues. His career encompassed playing blues joints in the Mississippi Delta during the 1920’s and 30’s, to studio recordings with groups like Fleetwood Mac and Johnny winter in the 1970’s. Located on East Center Street in Horn Lake, Big Walter Horton’s Blues Trail Marker is one of four markers located in DeSoto County.
