Blues legend Chester Arthur “Howlin’ Wolf” Burnett was born in nearby White Station and his music inspired many bands, including the Rolling Stones. The Mississippi Blues Trail marker here pays tribute to his legacy. Adjacent to the marker is a granite memorial, and just up the street is the future home of the Black Prairie Blues Museum.
